Palisades Park has completed new stormwater drain and line installations on 1st Street, 2nd Street, 4th Street, and Highland Ave β followed by fresh repaving to give residents safer, cleaner roads. π£οΈ
Here's why this matters:
π§οΈ These streets had NO proper drainage for years
π Residents dealt with flooding every time it rained
π§ New underground stormwater lines now redirect rainwater properly
π Fresh repaving follows every installation for smooth, safe roads
This is what real infrastructure reform looks like β not just patching problems, but fixing them at the root. π±
And we're not stopping here. More streets are being evaluated for stormwater upgrades, and new ordinances are being developed to require proper drainage in ALL future developments. π

Big news: The Borough of Palisades Park has secured a major legal victory β and it's a win for every single resident. πͺ
Judge Nasta has ordered former Business Administrator David Lorenzo to repay over $240,000 to the Borough of Palisades Park. ποΈ
Here's what happened:
π Between 2015β2024, Lorenzo authorized $276,334.85 in supplemental payments to HIMSELF
πΈ $81,226 for unused sick leave
πΈ $195,108 for unused vacation time
β All without legal entitlement β on the taxpayers' dime
This administration has been clear from day one: public funds belong to the public. We took legal action, we fought for accountability, and we won. β
