Un poco de mal tiempo nunca nos detendrá de honrar a los valientes hombres y mujeres que dieron su vida por nuestra libertad. After decades of asking the NJDOT for safer crossings on Grand Avenue, our voices were finally heard. Thanks to the steadfast support of our friend, State Senator Gordon Johnson, four new designated crosswalks are now in place — giving residents, families, and visitors a safer way to enjoy our local businesses and the County's beautiful recreational park.
This is real progress. And we're not stopping here. Our next request to NJDOT will be the installation of crosswalk light signals to better alert drivers and further protect pedestrians.
Step by step, we are building a brighter, safer future for Palisades Park. It's about time — and it's only the beginning. I ❤️ PALISADES PARK!

Durante décadas hemos pedido al NJDOT más cruces peatonales en Grand Avenue debido a los accidentes que han ocurrido allí. Finalmente, nuestras voces fueron escuchadas. Gracias al apoyo constante de nuestro amigo, el Senador Estatal Gordon Johnson, ahora contamos con cuatro nuevos cruces designados que permiten a nuestros residentes y visitantes disfrutar con mayor seguridad de nuestros comercios y del parque recreativo del Condado.
Este es un verdadero avance. Y no nos detendremos aquí. Nuestra próxima solicitud al NJDOT será la instalación de señales luminosas para alertar mejor a los conductores y proteger aún más a los peatones.

Grand Theft Auto has become a growing regional problem, and many towns around us — including our own — are being affected. I have directed both the Police Director and the Police Chief to implement a proactive strategy to reduce these incidents and protect our residents.
In the meantime, please take the following simple but effective precautions:
- ⚠️ Lock your vehicle and make sure all windows are fully closed
- ⚠️ Park in well-lit areas and near security cameras whenever possible
- ⚠️ Remove valuables from your car; do not leave anything visible
- ⚠️ Consider using a steering-wheel lock — criminals are using illegal key fobs programmed to unlock certain makes and models, and a physical lock can deter them
- ⚠️ If your vehicle is stolen, contact the police and notify your insurance carrier right away — quick reporting greatly increases the chance of recovery
Together, by staying alert and taking small steps, we can reduce these crimes and keep our community safer.
