The Borough of Palisades Park Department of Public Works offers curbside pickup of unwanted metal goods for all residents. Pickups are available on Tuesdays and Fridays and must be scheduled in advance by phone. Please have your items ready at the curb on your scheduled pickup day.

Free Meter Parking Begins at 6:00 PM
Extended through September 30 by the Borough Council
Parking meters are now FREE after 6:00 PM
Monday–Saturday · Previously free after 10:00 PM

The Borough of Palisades Park launched a trial program providing free parking at meter spaces starting at 6:00 PM instead of 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

This change was introduced to support residents, visitors, and local businesses during a challenging economic period and to encourage activity along Broad Avenue and nearby commercial areas.

Following a successful trial period, the Borough Council has approved extending this program through September 30. We encourage residents to continue taking advantage of evening free parking and to support our local merchants.
