📷 Junior Police Academy 2026
Our Police Department is hosting its annual Junior Police Academy, and our young participants are having a wonderful experience. We hope these lessons and memories stay with them for years to come.
Graduation will take place on June 30 at 5:30 PM at the Municipal Building (275 Broad Ave.). Families are encouraged to attend and consider enrolling their children next year.
우리 경찰서는 매년 주최하는 주니어 경찰 아카데미를 진행하고 있으며, 참가한 학생들이 즐겁고 뜻깊은 시간을 보내고 있습니다. 이 경험이 오래도록 좋은 기억으로 남기를 바랍니다.

Nuestro Departamento de Policía está llevando a cabo su Academia de Policía Juvenil anual, y los jóvenes participantes están disfrutando una experiencia maravillosa. Esperamos que estas lecciones y recuerdos los acompañen por muchos años.
La graduación se llevará a cabo el 30 de junio a las 5:30 PM en el Edificio Municipal (275 Broad Ave.). Invitamos a todas las familias a asistir y considerar inscribir a sus hijos para el próximo año.

Our annual Summer Family Fun Night will be held on June 29 from 5:30–8:00 PM at the Palisades Park Pool (200 Roosevelt Place, behind ShopRite).
Enjoy a free evening with neighbors — food, dessert, an inflatable waterslide, our new splash pad, and full access to the pool.
Please bring swim gear if you plan to swim. We can't wait to see you and your family there!

📷 Scholarship Night 2026
For the past four years, I have used the $200 fee I receive from each wedding ceremony I officiate to fund the Mayor's Bright Future Scholarships for our Palisades Park High School graduates. Every dollar goes directly to our students.
This year, it was my privilege and honor to award nine scholarships of $1,000 each to nine outstanding young people.
Weddings have slowed down recently, and I admit it saddens me — not because of the ceremonies themselves, but because each wedding helps create another opportunity for our students. I remain committed to continuing this tradition for as long as I am able.
지난 4년 동안 저는 주례를 맡을 때마다 받는 $200 주례비 전액을 팰리세이즈파크 고등학교 졸업생 장학금으로 사용해 왔습니다. 모든 금액은 학생들에게 직접 전달됩니다.
올해는 9명의 학생에게 각각 $1,000 장학금을 수여하는 영광을 누렸습니다.
최근 결혼식이 줄어들어 안타까운 마음입니다. 결혼식 자체 때문이 아니라, 결혼식 한 건 한 건이 우리 학생들에게 새로운 기회를 만들어 주기 때문입니다. 저는 이 전통을 가능한 한 오래 이어갈 것입니다.
Durante los últimos cuatro años, he utilizado los $200 que recibo por cada ceremonia de boda que ofrezco para financiar las Becas Mayor's Bright Future para los graduados de Palisades Park High School. Cada dólar va directamente a nuestros estudiantes.
Este año tuve el honor de otorgar nueve becas de $1,000 a nueve jóvenes excepcionales.
Las bodas han disminuido recientemente, y sinceramente me entristece — no por las ceremonias, sino porque cada boda crea una nueva oportunidad para nuestros estudiantes. Seguiré comprometido con esta tradición mientras me sea posible.

▶ Construction Footage
The newly installed stormwater drains and lines on sections of 1st, 2nd, 4th Streets, and Highland Avenue are already helping reduce flooding in areas that previously lacked proper drainage.
We are working with the Borough Attorney on two new ordinances:
• Requiring developers to install stormwater lines when none exist within a certain distance.
• Requiring PERC soil testing to ensure proper water absorption and reduce flooding risks.

Los nuevos drenajes y tuberías instalados en partes de 1st, 2nd, 4th Streets y Highland Avenue ya están ayudando a reducir inundaciones en áreas que antes carecían de drenaje adecuado.

• Requerir que los desarrolladores instalen líneas de drenaje cuando no existan dentro de cierta distancia.
