Dear Palisades Park Community!
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the inaugural edition of the Palisades Park Community Newsletter.
Palisades Park has always been a place where neighbors come together, share memories, and build lasting relationships.
It is an honor to serve as your Mayor and keep you updated on the latest developments in our community.
The monthly newsletter marks a new chapter in our communication with you. It’s a way for us to keep you up to date with important community events, local developments, and the initiatives that continue to make Palisades Park such a special place to live.
One thing that I’m particularly passionate about is reform. It’s all about making our community better with what we have.
A central part of our vision for the future is to build a community that is more connected, inclusive, and thriving.
We are focused on developing new spaces and improving current spaces and amenities to enhance the quality of life for all our residents.
A town with a dedicated student recreation center, a welcoming senior center, and indoor gathering spaces where we can host events and celebrate together.
We are also prioritizing the improvement of our green spaces.
Our aim is to create more areas for outdoor activities, recreation, and relaxation.
A Pickleball court and Dog Park will be coming this fall. These are the types of facilities that will bring us closer as a community and provide opportunities for everyone to engage, learn, move, and grow.
Equally important is improving communication and accessibility.
I want to ensure that every resident has a clear and open line of communication for updates, feedback, and suggestions.
To keep the community well-informed, I will provide regular updates through the “From the Desk of Mayor Kim” section on our official website. These updates will cover a variety of topics, including upcoming events, important announcements, progress reports on ongoing projects, and my perspectives on key issues facing our community. Together, we can make informed decisions that reflect the needs and desires of our town.
