The Bureau of Fire Prevention is staffed by full and part time employees and is responsible for the enforcement of state and local fire codes and regulations in all buildings, structures and premises within the established municipal boundaries of the Borough of Palisades Park. Our typical responsibilities consist of the performance of periodic and follow-on fire inspections, responding to complaints, fire investigations, smoke detector and carbon monoxide compliance, and public education and awareness.
